The laboratory has supervised 43 MSc and BSc theses, and most of the people who have worked here arrived as students. If you would like to be one of them, or to work with the group from somewhere else, this is the way to ask.
What the work here is
Measurement, mostly. Filter sampling at the rooftop site in Dhaka and at the Bangladesh Climate Observatory on Bhola, then the analytical work that turns a filter into a number. The research themes say what the group works on and how, each one opening onto the papers and theses that carry it; the instruments page shows what there is to work with, and the theses show what a finished piece of it looks like.
Reading two or three theses in the area you are interested in is the best preparation for writing the paragraph below, and the fastest way to find out whether this is the kind of work you want to do.
This page does not list openings, because the laboratory has not published any. How many students it takes in a year, when it decides, and whether any position carries funding are not recorded anywhere this site can read, so none of it is stated here. Ask in the form and somebody will tell you.
